Fraudulent light, ominously hiding
Morbid energy, enduringly alienating

Trembling heroes chant war songs
Insects pretend to be eagles
Rehearsing speeches on the art of banality
Protagonists  in a cheap mythology

Their weapons keep them enamoured
Dynamos of purple nightmares
Boasting the elegance of sharks
Arrogance from past triumphs and glories

Dogma is divinely dressed
Despair hopes for a grand future
Happiness attempts suicide and fails
Only compassion delivers death

A poetic cynicism reigns
Perjury refined into art
Purpose fades out, washed by indifference
A longing for anarchy, out of order.
